Beginning with
2008 we will be transferring the Wrangell Mountain portion of
our guiding business to another guide--
Kelly
Vrem of Rough & Ready Guide Service.
The
incredible and majestic Wrangell Mountains are encompassed
within the Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Preserve.
This National Park, six times the size of Yellowstone, is the
largest National Park in the United States. Our
exclusive Guide Concession is located near our home on the
west side of the mountains.
This area is well known for its thriving population of
Dall's sheep, which can nearly always be viewed from
our base camp in the Wrangells. Brown bear, Alaska-Yukon
moose, Rocky Mountain goat, black bear, wolf, and wolverine
are also year around resident species to this Concession area.
This area offers not only great multiple species and Dall's
sheep hunts but is an outstanding destination for trophy
class moose and grizzly!
